This flowering plant is very popular with all who know and love the British countryside. It is a delicate plant and yet it produces a beautiful vivid red flower which can be seen from a distance among other flowers in most landscapes. The Common Poppy flowers mainly throughout June and July but the season can extend into the early autumn. This limited edition reproduction of the original painting of the Common Poppy, in water colours, is shown below.
