Landscape Paintings In Water Colours.A Water Colour Of King's College Chapel, Cambridge. This limited edition water colour depicts a beautiful scenic view painted from "The Backs" looking through the water meadows, towards the chapel at King's College. The Chapel is of significant importance because it is a fine example of English medieval architecture. This most famous of buildings, in Cambridge, was begun by the founder of the College, King Henry VII in 1446. Construction of the building continued throughout the reigns of the five following monarchs until completion by King Henry VIII in 1515.
